WELCOME BACK AFTER OUR SUMMER BREAK.

I hope everyone had a great holiday and you are well rested in readiness for another wonderful term at Sketty Primary School.

Over the summer two members of staff, Miss Jones and Miss Davies got married.  They are now called Mrs O’Malley and Mrs Sander respectively. We wish them every happiness and lots of luck for the future!

We have lots of exciting activities planned for the new term. Already the year three and four teachers have planned a theatre and museum visit and our first whole school event will take place on Friday the 13th September to celebrate Roald Dahl Day. Everyone is welcome to dress up as their favourite Roald Dahl character!! Rumour has it that Mr Rees is dressing up as an Oompa Loompa!!!

I look forward to another happy, busy year at Sketty Primary and, as ever if you have any queries or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact school so we can deal with any issues immediately.

Many thanks for your continued support.

‘’We are super excited to announce that we have again partnered with the SuperStars Multisport holiday course team for the fast approaching Easter Holidays (15th – 18th & 23rd – 26th April).

If you want to keep the children off their screens and on their toes this Easter, then SuperStars is the answer! They have over 40 different sports, fun activities and themes that the children will be taking part in. Everyone from the school is welcome as they accommodate age 4-11. For more information, details and dates contact SuperStars direct www.super-stars.org.uk/holiday-courses. Call 03452413682. Spaces are likely to fill up fast as they can only take 30 children per day.’’

School Closure Monday 7th & Tuesday 8th January 2019.

Dear Parents

Due to unavoidable circumstances regarding our roof replacement, school will reopen on Wednesday 9th January 2019 (school will be closed to all pupils on 7th & 8th January).  This is to ensure everyone’s safety on the return to school.   This decision has been made by City & County of Swansea.

We apologise for any inconvenience while essential structural work takes place.

Yours sincerely

Beverley Phillips
