We have been able to secure a workshop for parents on Internet Safety as part of our NSPCC Link on Thursday 1st February 2:00-3:00pm. Please inform the office if you would like to take part.
We urge everybody to take up the opportunity.
There will be other workshops later in the term after school. We will get that information to you as soon as we can.
Internet Safety is always something that schools take very seriously and provide our children with many workshops and lessons to discuss how they must keep themselves safe “Online.” February 6th 2018 is Internet Safety Day and School will be working particularly hard on that day to ensure our children are equipped with the skills to stay safe online.
Please can I ask that all parents and carers check the parental controls on the games that your children may be playing online. Please can you check that the games are suitable for their age and continue to monitor closely any social media websites they may access.
Thank you so much for your support with this important issue!
It has been brought to my attention that lots of children are making “slime” at home and having a wonderful time doing so. Unfortunately as we are not aware of what ingredients everyone is using, for the sake of health and safety, with various children having various allergies to a variety of things please can we keep our slime at home. I know the children have hours of fun making and playing with slime but can we keep this as an at home activity.
Infants 15:30 – 17:00
Juniors 17:30 – 19:00
Consent and Order Forms for pre-filled snack boxes (£2.50 to include popcorn drink and a snack) will be sent out soon.
Welcome back everybody, Christmas and New Year seem an awful long time ago. I hope everybody had a wonderful time! Already we have had a busy start to the new term and today we are visited by royalty! Prince Philip is visiting Reception this morning, apparently he’s parked his horse at the Nursery gate. I can’t wait to see the photographs.
I’m sure your all aware that Mr Mark Wilson one of our fabulous Year 5 teachers has decided to leave us at half term to persue his passion for art. We wish him every success and look forward to an invite to his first exhibition. We will miss you Mr Wilson.
Our PTA has organised a few events this half term starting with a Community Morning on Saturday 27th January 2018 10:00 – 1:00 pm weather depending. Many thanks for your continued support and as ever if you have any queries or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.
A great effort at the Bay Netball tournament at Bishopston Comprehensive yesterday. We took a strong team of 9 year 6 girls who really held their own at a tough and competitive tournament. The improvement in their skills and confidence is something to be proud of! Well done girls!
