Year 3 visited Ilston Woods this week to take part in a range of outdoor activities in the woods.  The rain stayed off and the children enjoyed the practical activities very much.   The Ranger was very enthusiastic and her enthusiasm certainly rubbed off on the children.

In addition, Years 4 & 5 went to Llangrannog for their residential visit from Monday to Wednesday.  It was fantastic to see the children participating in challenging activities and overcoming their nerves.  ‘High Ropes’ and ‘Go Karting’ seemed to be the favourite activities!  Their behaviour was exceptional and staff reported the boys and girls were a pleasure to take away.  Our thanks to the staff for generously giving of their own time to allow the children this wonderful experience.

The rearranged Ultra Run took place today on our school field.   Every child participated enthusiastically in the event and enjoyed the experience.  We will be adding up the total distance covered by all the children shortly to see how many Marathons were completed by the children.  Many thanks for your support of the children in obtaining sponsorship.  Monies raised will help further improve the school grounds for the children.  Sincere thanks to Miss Lewis, Parent Governor Heath Brett and the Pupil Active Council for their organisation, enthusiasm and hard work in ensuring  the event ran smoothly.
