Year 6CJ went to Penllergaer Woods on Monday for a Forest School session. They (and the accompanying parents) had a most enjoyable time.  On Wednesday, Year 3LC undertook activities in  the wooded area in our own grounds, led by parent Mrs. Davies.   They had an equally enjoyable experience.

On Wednesday, Year 4 had a memorable visit from Ospreys and Wales speedster Keelan Giles.  Keelan has been getting rave reviews for his try scoring exploits this season and so we were delighted to welcome him to school for a question and answer session.   The boys and girls give Keelan a suitable grilling and he answered all their questions in an open and engaging manner.   It is wonderful to see local sporting talent inspiring the next generation.

The juniors were treated to a dance performance from Gower College students this afternoon.   Year 6 then undertook a workshop with the students.

Parents’ evenings have been well attended this week.  I trust you found the meetings informative and helpful.

The PTA are holding a film night for the Infants next Thursday evening.  In addition, we will be supporting  Red Nose Day next Friday.  The theme is ‘wear something red’ and ‘crazy hair’.

Have a nice weekend.
