This week school council have been busy organising another charity fundraising event following the success of Children In Need. This time we are raising money for SAVE THE CHILDREN Christmas Jumper Day, on Friday December 15th.
We would like everyone to wear a Christmas jumper to school and donate £2 to the charity SAVE THE CHILDREN.
Each donation can help provide children around the world with essential healthcare, education, protection and food.
The money we raise can make a huge difference to disadvantaged or disabled children who are in desperate need of help. Your support can give them the chance to be children again so please donate and ‘Wear your sweater to make the world better!’
School Council have also organised a competition to design a Christmas jumper.
Children can be as creative as they want and use a variety of mediums.
First prize – £10 TOYS ‘R’ US voucher
Second prize – Christmas goodie bag
Third prize – large selection box.
All entries to be in by Friday 15th December please.
A huge well done to our school councillors Luca, Caitlin, Hayden, Rosa, Lenny, Abigail, Molly, George, James, Ella, Freya and Bella for planning and organising a fantastic fundraising day for Children In Need. They made Pudsey themed games, held competitions and managed the Bring and Buy Sale.
In total we raised £700 for the charity, an amazing achievement by all!
